this is what happens when you are glued onto your phone while walking or driving. accidents only happen when two idiots making two errors happen to meet and collide. Because if one person was paying attention, was hyperaware and defensive, that person would have avoided the idiot making the error.
Drivers are not driving 100% safely. You think that when you are at a crosswalk that a car cannot come out of nowhere and end it for you?
I am always constantly aware when I'm walking on the sidewalk. I don't even listen to music or if I do I put the volume really low because I wanna be able to hear tires screeching before I duck and dodge. Even then, I fully accept that is not full insurance of my safety. You take a risk everytime when you're on the sidewalk or road.
