The process of removing them doesn't hurt at all, there's no pain. I've had 3 wisdom teeth extracted. It can hurt after they are removed though, and it depends on a lot of things. The closer the wisdom tooth is to your jawline, the more it will probably hurt after the removal in the following days. So basically if the tooth is impacted meaning it is not showing at all so it is under the gums, it will probably hurt. That's my experience anyway, I had one impacted wisdom tooth and that was the only one that hurt.

You will get local anesthesia and it won't hurt at all.
If it starts to hurt afterwards, just take pain killers. I didn't need them, though.

True. I have been dealing with the pain because of this shit for the past few days and will probably need to remove it. As if being incel wasn't enough now I have to endure this. Fuck my life and genetics.

It hurts if you go to shitty inexperienced surgeons. It will be a breeze during and post surgery if you go to someone who knows what he's doing. I was in the military and saw so many botched wisdom teeth removals during my time because the troops agreed to become practice guinea pigs for the resident surgeons instead of paying out of pocket to go to an experienced civilian orthosurgeon. There were swollen faces, nerve damage, people had broken teeth remaining in their gums. It was fucked. A military dentist said I needed to get 3 teeth removed and said it will be "complex and might puncture the nasal cavity" and they have to go "deep in there". I refused to let a military ortho surgeon touch me and went to a civilian surgeon years later, paid out of pocket for someone who was considered expensive. Had no issues during the surgery and the recovery I barely felt anything.

Go to a surgeon associated with a teaching hospital or university.
