I've actually never thought Borderlands was that good anyway. The combat felt too close to an RPG... bullet-spongey, basically.
Also it wasn't particularly funny. Not awful but nothing amazing either.
I guess I can understand people liking it though if they're really into RPGs and like the style of comedy.

Yeah, they butchered the casting for this one. The only convincing actors in the trailer are for Claptrap and Krieg and they're both faceless.

Yeah it's so odd. I guess they were backed into a corner because so many of the characters are pretty attractive and these days you can't have attractive women in anything. So maybe someone came up with the genius idea of setting it in the future so they can all be unattractive XD

What I said isn't always true. There is some good mainstream media and there is a ton of obscure crap.
There are definitely shows/movies/games that I would recommend but I don't think I would say someone SHOULD watch them.
Like The Twilight Zone or The Matrix or Shenmue. I mean, they're fantastic but I don't know if I'd ever say it's actually important that somebody watch/play them. It's up to them.
Borderlands is gay propaganda disguised as a game. Feminist propaganda too. Multiple male characters are killed in the game for merely having snarky comments towards women. So the developers are saying its okay to kill regular straight men if they dont bow down to femoids.
And my god. How can every borderlands game but the first, have like 15 homosexual couples? It is so bad, that in borderlands 2, in a quest you get them in 5 seconds, first 2 dudes then 2 women. It is so bad, they are constantly using a DAMN 13 YEAR OLD GIRL to channel that gay propaganda. She has like 50+ comments about drooling over women for being hot? And then the one time she said something heterosexual everyone including her acted like she just said something foul.
