There's been a lot of talk of robot waifus and sexbots becoming a reality sooner than we realize. Thoughts?

Won't do anything. Until AI come about and learn to love us, nothing will change

nothing will solve our miserable life

Advanced AI is just around the corner brother
definitely, science fiction eventually becomes science fact tbh. I'd say very realistic sexbots will exist in 50-100 years time

You mean alexa, siri and google AI structured on machine learning, you call that "advanced" AI, JFL.

A truly advanced AI will mock your ugly sorry ass, might as well use a fleshlight or onahole.

No, at least not mine. I want a real girl.

I think they could really solve our problems, provided they´re realistic and, more importantly, affordable enough.

If femoids are NPCs, at least a sexbot is a NPC that will neither go hostile nor fuck up your life. Unless lawmakers make stupid shit like giving rights to robots and such idiotic things. "Equality" never works.

Fuck yeah.
But you should learn related shit and build a.i
Like app dev electric engineering 3d printing and robotics

hope it comes out sooner, my dick will be shriveled up by then

it wont become advanced enough in our lifetimes:feelsrope:

Depends on your age I guess. I'm in my early 20's so I'm still hopeful
same, but i plan on roping before 30 if i don't ascend, even if i live longer i wouldn't enjoy it as much as an old 60 something year old man.

Moore's Law has ended. The progress in transistors, which are necessary for advanced bipedal AI to ever exist, has been slowing down. Combined with the fact the global IQ has been dropping and that we are seeing the repercussions of climate change and resource exhaustion, we will probably never see sexbots, at least not in our lifetimes. Civilization will probably collapse before sexbots ever come close to being developed. They are nothing more than a cope.

We may, possibly, see somewhat more advanced VR in the next few decades, but the graphics will not be much better than video games today given the slow-down in technology. You certainly won't be enjoying graphics close to real-life, so the "sex game" cope in VR already exists and will only be marginally better in the future.

Regardless, having sexbots or real-life VR will never feel as good as fucking a real, living, breathing woman. They are pale substitutes to the real thing. We should want the return of patriarchy, rather than implausible half-measures that are unlikely to ever come about, at least in this century.

Advanced AI has been "just around the corner" for a few decades now.
This is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.

I believe that advanced AI will never exist. Human like or close to human like AI will never exist. I am very skeptical about sex bots. They still seem like science fiction to me.

Don't take me wrong. I would love to have an intelligent sex bot, programmed to like me. to be faithful to me and to make me company. That would be great, I approve of that Idea 100%.

But I remain a realist. And reality today is: technology has been halted worldwide. There is no more progress. I know of no field in science that has seen any real progress in the last 60 years. I think that technology has stagnated.

Spot on. There has not been really any huge breakthroughs in technology since the 1960s, we have had only minor incremental improvements. The massive improvements in electronics were the only substantial improvement we managed to make in the last 60 years, and now this is coming to an end, which means the future will be very stagnant.

There is simply a law of diminishing returns. As technology becomes more complex, it takes more effort to advance it. This means you need more high IQ people being born and going to work in science. The trend of the world has been moving in the opposite direction especially with women's rights, and the global IQ is dropping. This means technological progress will just become more and more sparse in the coming decades - and thanks to our enormous rate of consumption, it will be less than a century before our civilization exhausts its available resources and enters a period of collapse, at which point technology will begin regressing rather than progressing.

This, mind transfer and genetic enhancements are the only copes we have left.

If i could get an ai robot waifu that would solve my problems

God that would be amazing. Imagine transferring your brain onto a different body.
Yeah. In Chads body. We'll experience what it's like to be Chad first hand.

No and in fact robots will actually doom us all. Once robots make 90% of the public useless the elites will just either kill us or isolate themselves away from the rest of is in automated utopian cities while everybody else lives in a madmax dystopia.

Thank God someone understands me. People here usually think that Technology just gets better every year.

And will become super advanced in 10 years or ""just around the corner"". But the corner never comes.
We only see small incremental additions to things that already exist. Technology seems frozen to me.

And I am not that old. I am 25. I remember how the computers and the Internet was in the 2000's. I remember how phones where in 2010. They got way better yes, but they seem to me like the only things that got better.

Men are the ones that create stuff. Today the world treats men badly. And ugly men are treated like shit. As females gained more rights and freedom, technology slowed down and halted.

Precisely. Technology today has become a religion to people, replacing the older faiths of the past. Hoping that technological utopia is just around the corner is as much of a cope as the religious believing heaven is around the corner, yet people still think there is a difference between the two.

As you noted, the only real progress recently has been in electronics, and now this is slowing down due to the end of Moore's Law, with the miniaturization of transistors crawling to a halt as we reach the physical limit on the atomic scale. All our advancements and improvements in other fields have been mostly dependent on electronics for the last 60 years - the new machines in hospitals which allow remote surgery, for instance, are dependent on new advanced electronics. As are self-driving cars, for instance, reliant on increases in the performance of electronics, particularly the processing power of CPUs (and sexbots would need massive improvements in both CPU power and mechanical engineering to be capable of bipedal locomotion).

That we are now seeing the end of Moore's Law will mean that technology will become even more stagnant in the future. Our advancements in all fields will slow-down and will diminish. There may be a breakthrough here and there that will allow incremental increases in electronics to continue, but as a whole the field will be massively slowed down. We will certainly not be seeing the insane doubling of performance every 18 to 24 months that we were used to.

The law of diminishing returns means that technology will become increasingly more difficult to expand on as it becomes more complex. This means the number of intelligent men working in scientific fields must increase in order to meet the increasing challenges of technology. But the opposite is happening - men are dropping out of, not going into, STEM fields. Increasingly, men are checking out of society, because there is just no point when women will shit on you and will ignore everything you do so they can lust after Chads.

What motivated those nerds in the 1960s and before to work hard, study and move Mankind forward was status and women, the same that motivates any man. But today the people who get status and women are attractive Chads, movie stars, sports players, and others who do not progress to technological advancements.

It's no surprise that as woman gained full sexual rights in the 1960s, technological advancement has also slowed down massively since then. Now in the age of Tinder and increasing female hypergamy + divorce-rape laws, nerdy intelligent men are waking up to the fact that the best they can get through hard work and commitment is some fat used up landwhale. There is just no incentive anymore to progress Western civilization. That's why you have MGTOW and other movements of men simply checking out of society and giving up.

On a final note on the futility of believing in technology to save us, remember that a young man in 1969 saw the Moon Landing and amazing progress in the years before. He believed we would have space colonies, robotic servants and flying cars by now. The idea of women being rampant whores and that the average man would be living far worse didn't even occur to him.

Now, he's elderly and almost dead, and the only thing he saw were computers and phones, which are now slowing down. There were no robots, no teleportation, no genetic engineering. Nothing came to pass. The most fantastical technology is always the most unlikely.

Holy Jesus Christ. You are above Tesla level IQ. 200+ IQ. You put into words exactly what I have been seeing and thinking for the last few years. You need to make a full thread about this. More people needs to see this, I think they will agree with you.

In fact you could make a whole book out of this topic.

I feel like today we are at The Dark Ages. Not only far away science fiction stuff like teleportation is out of reach

Even the close things like stem cell researches seems to be awfully slow, close to stopping. I remember that in the past they said things like growing whole organs with stem cells.

They said that it could even be possible to regrowing parts of the brain that may have been lost in accidents or something.

But it was either a lie or the progress has stopped because they are still struggling to grow basic muscle cells/ muscle tissue.

Thanks bro. I was considering making a thread about how sexbots and VR are cope, but I'm not sure most people would bother to read the science behind it before complaining. I may make one later anyway.

And yes, the supposed scientific advancements are always overblown by the news, which are then gobbled up by hungry techbros who believe that the fabled panacea to human suffering is almost here. Scientists making a small advancement in muscle cells replicating under very specific conditions become twisted into "organ replacements ill be here in the next 10 years", or "artificial meat will be on supermarket shelves in the next few years".

This is why the actual biologists and scientists working in such fields either don't make predictions at all, or have gloomy forecasts, because they know how often predictions are wrong, and they understand better than anyone the incredibly slow pace that technology, especially in recent times, advances at.

And yes, because of our relentless overconsumption (driven in huge part by women) we will definitely exhaust our resources, and also because our overconsumption is leading to climate change. This is because our ultimate standard for living quality improvement revolves around increases in material goods. Women in particular drive this because they are responsible for around 70-80% of consumer purchases.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/bridge...s-everyone-should-know-about-women-consumers/

Technology will not advance fast enough to cover this consumption, and it will certainly cripple civilization as a result.

I'm just here waiting on my Marilyn Monroe Bot.

You deserve an award for this tbh
