Every year is a twisted loop from the next. I've ended this year in bed for half the month, asleep all day, awake all night, complete darkness everyday in my room, isolated from everyone around me, some of which have been emotionally abusive, at this point I just want to die in my sleep, my mental health can't get any worse.

Weirdly enough, it could be anything for me. „Better“ because 2023 was my worst year to date. The same or worse, because I don’t see a way that my life could improve, and I’m getting older.
Whatever it may be I absolutely despise January. And I don’t know why. I think it’s exactly bc of that. New year, old year gone and nothing achieved. Only a bad year ahead. Also it has historical significance as i hated January as a kid.
