We all know that for somebody persistently having suicidal ideation it’s unlikely to get better. Nevertheless we go full normie suicide hotline whenever somebody talks about suicide on here like with that French boy recently.
If a depressed, autistic, and isolated teenager kills himself people might at least think “he was a quiet smart kid who had a future. What a tragedy. Let’s leave a nice comment on his memorial page”.
If he waits 12 years and kills himself when he’s an overweight, medicated, drooling, unemployed adult with no drivers license and no social circle in “temporary accommodation” or worse “supported living” then nobody is gonna think that.
Depression gets worse. Mental illness gets worse.
By killing himself as a teen, the depressed, autistic and isolated teenage boy spares himself the horror that is autistic adulthood.
Teen suicides are a good thing for the victim because he at least spares himself the reality of adulthood. And at least strangers who see his memorial might have a flicker of sympathy.
Put it this way. This is how the same person would be remembered at different ages.
If “Ethan” kills himself as a depressed teenager:
Ethan, 19 took his own life following a long battle with depression exacerbated by his autism. Ethan was at college and was an avid reader, played multiple instruments and had taught himself 3 languages. Recently he was struggling to maintain a steady study schedule and became overwhelmed with his depression. He gave himself permission to end the life he didn’t want for so long. He is survived by his family and is missed by all at such and such university where he was a beloved member of the student community.
(Comments from people will be like: “I don’t know Ethan or the family. My wife died and I was coming to update her own memorial site when I saw his fresh young face. What a tragedy. Such a promising young man. He sounded like such a wonderful kid. If only he’d fought through things would have got so much brighter” and other blue pilled normie bullshit. There will also be other kids from the college who never spoke to him but want to appear nice so pretend to have liked him and are like “I’m so sorry I never really got to know Ethan but he was absolutely very intelligent based on the few conversations I did have with him. I’ll really miss him” ).
Now let’s pretend Ethan didn’t actually kill himself at 19. He did try to fight through and eventually killed himself at 30.
Ethan, 30, committed suicide at his supported living facility. Ethan had long struggled with depression and autism which had caused him to drop out of university at 20. Ethan had turned to drugs and entered a very dark place in life. He is missed by all the staff and residents at Bespoke Steam Train Happy Valley Autism Care Services.
There will be no comments with blue pilled bullshit from random strangers because they won’t care when they see his fat antidepressant bloated face. No comments will be left by people pretending they were his friend. Nobody. Nothing. Just the generic comment from the webmaster saying “we are so sorry for your loss. If you have any questions please reach out to the moderation team”.
We shouldn’t act soy and tell people who are suicidal the bullshit advice like “bro it gets better bro. Just hang in there bro. You like music bro? Just think if you kill yourself you won’t be able to listen to it anymore bro. Stay with us bro. Let’s play video games bro”.
If a depressed autistic teenager wants to leave this world let them go while they still have at least some dignity remaining before they’re a retarded, antidepressant bloated freak with adult social services and support workers.
