This is the correct answer. They didn't want incels to go and see one of their saint's burial sites. So instead they cremated his body into ashes and scattered them to the wind, sea, and land.

Not sure. I told my parents to cremate me. I'm not a fan of having worms and maggots eat me from the inside out for 50 years while 6 feet underground. I'd just rather turn into ash.

What? Cremation is done by every religion in the us, some people don’t want to be buried, some don’t want funerals
Just like how they scrapped his car. They are afraid his spirit will rise (he will regardless) from the grave and the whol world will know that he was true.
