Respect and courtesy are governed by status and power. An average or even LTN is projected to have some potential status or use to the other person, as such they are regarded with basic courtesy, even then not likely to be popular or well liked without significant effort. However, a sub4 person is judged to have no value, status or power in society, our face elicits reactions of contempt and disgust. More than that, we are seen as outcasts not fit to belong in any group as such we are dehumanized either as a threat or loser. At most they can be the punching bag or victim in a group, never given acceptance or status. Mob mentality is well and alive within humanity, if you do not belong to a group or seen as unfit to belong then you are on the same level as an animal or insect and not considered fully human by people. As such, they will be happy to make fun of us, avoid us, exclude us and regard us as trash.
