Well here's a question for you, if they don't brag about their height how would you know that they are tall? What I mean is that you aren't made aware of all the tallfags who don't brag about their height, because they never mention their height, so this means that the only ones you see are the ones who are bragging.
Height only matters if you have everything else at least passable already. It is merely one of many requirements women have when it comes to choosing a dude.
