I've always thought that being my height (5'2.5) was a death sentence.

Read my OP again mate. Tinder emphasizes face, not height. Women do not have the ability to discern height over a picture, but they can do so with face. Even if you tell them "I'm short", they will not have an issue until you meet them IRL.
