I keep advocating for the view that it's not height or muscle that matters it's lean body mass. It's just a 5'6'' guy would literally have to get on steroids to make up for the lean body mass advantage a 6'3'' skeleton has on height alone. If you're 6'3'', a legit 6'3'', you have about 25-30 pounds more lean body mass than a similarly trained man of average height.

And what lean body mass is, is essentially a proxy for who would win in a fight.
