I always found it weird how guys are open about wanting a good looking cute girl while deluding themselves that women are not the same and want guys with personalities,confidence or money.why do most people think like this? it dosent make any sense.
In the past decades and even centuries ago women didnt have much rights. they were fully dependent on males to survive and didnt have the privilege to choose who they want. so they went for what they can get just as long as the man can provide well.women always wanted chad but back then they just couldnt.also marriage was also more practiced and it was almost a taboo not to be married so thats why alsmost every guy had a wife.
so now in modern and more liberated times women are for the most part self dependent and they dont need providers. they have right and they dont rely on men at all so now they have options to finally choose what they always wanted.
But men fail to realize this because of decades of the same mindset that was hard drived into their brains.even back then they were probably deluded into thinking they were a catch because of their confidence and personality and not because women wore basically forced to marry.

Society conditions us to believe that women are the fairer sex and have all the good qualities e.g. being nice, caring, etc. and that they care about personality. Foids play into this as they grow up by virtue signalmaxxing to seem all innocent because they know that they can get away with a lot in life based on people's good opinion of them. Foids also lie because they want to avoid anything awkward or confrontational. So they become experts at lying and manipulating, but you can see that when a foid is exposed for lying she will go apeshit crazy and show her true ugly self. With all their lies, most men are deluded into thinking that they don't care about looks.

Money is mostly cope. In the modern west they can get money and survive just fine they don't need you. Having money will only get you betabuxxed since she won't say no to your money, just to you. There is also the fact that while looks reigns supreme, women also prefer a rich tall chad with social status if possible. Men, on the other hand, don't give a shit beyond looks. So this contributes to delude men into thinking they can get away without the looks. They can't, looks is the deciding factor.

As to why exactly men are so easily fooled: they are COPING. They don't want to admit that something out of their control is so important.
