Why I'm seeing so many copers that genuinely believe tests of putting geometric figures in the right place determines how intelligent you are :feelshaha: :feelshaha:.
IQ doesn't exist as a thing because there is no way to put the intelligence of a person in a number, the mere concept of that is retarded.
There are people more intelligent than others of course, but saying "this one is 140 IQ bro :soy:" is reddit tier retardation.

Intelligence can't be showed in a number.

Everything is simple

Coping, simple as.

Intelligence itself is already a somewhat abstract concept. These tests would probably have to be 100x longer and varied to actually put out an accurate measure of it.

Creativity in itself is his own kind of intelligence

IQ is correlated with the HDI of a country.

People with low IQ tend to be retarded.

Everything is simple
Its only simple for chads with a bunch of connections that can take them far in life. Also yea OP, iq and intelligence is a huge cope, the only thing that matters today is who you know.

you're a dunning kruger if you care about iq

High IQ is about curiosity and ability to change.

Low IQ is correlated with cognitive rigidity and challenges with complex thought (sophistication), but these are not universally applicable characteristics. Cognitive abilities exist on a spectrum, and intelligence is more multifaceted than a single IQ score.

The link between low IQ and cognitive rigidity

Cognitive rigidity is the inability to adapt one's thinking or behavior to new situations or information. Research has shown a correlation between lower cognitive ability and higher cognitive rigidity, with intelligence shaping the degree to which a person can adjust their beliefs in the face of new information. In simpler terms, lower intelligence can make it harder to change your mind, even when your assumptions are proven false.

Specific indicators include:
  • Difficulty thinking "outside the box": People with low IQ may struggle with creative problem-solving and approaching issues from new angles.
  • Difficulty understanding abstract concepts: They may struggle with abstract ideas like inflation or complex philosophical concepts. They tend to prefer concrete facts and literal interpretations.
  • Resistance to new ideas: A cognitively rigid person may stick to tradition and feel uncomfortable with novel or new concepts.
  • Trust in unreliable sources: They may blindly trust authorities or close associates without questioning their credentials or evidence.
The link between low IQ and less complex thought

Intellectual complexity involves processing multiple concepts at once, understanding nuance, and using logic and reasoning. Lower cognitive ability is associated with more concrete and linear thinking.

Specific indicators include:
  • Challenges with multi-step tasks: Multi-part instructions or multi-step projects can be overwhelming due to difficulties with memory, sequencing, and critical thinking.
  • Black-and-white thinking: They may have difficulty seeing nuance, viewing issues as either right or wrong with no middle ground. This is related to a lack of critical thinking.
  • Struggles with hypothetical thinking: For some with very low IQ, hypothetical scenarios can be challenging to process because they are disconnected from present reality.
  • Less curiosity: There can be a reduced desire to explore or learn about topics that are outside their immediate experience.
  • Superficial judgment: Because they struggle with depth and nuance, people with lower IQ may fixate on superficial aspects of a situation or concept.

That's a cope, the average redditor and e soyntificist would say the same.

It's not the size it's what you do with it

If iq doesn't exist then explain why nigger and indian civilizations are farther behind technologically than white and asian civilizations.

I never said there aren't people more intelligent than others. What I mean is that there is no way to test the intelligent of a person in a number.

@Horatio Ludwiczek thots?

IQ is just a tool used to measure general intelligence, you can disagree with it but it is reliable and accurate, though, imo not perfect.

It’s like saying meters aren’t a thing, yeah, they aren’t, meters (or feet) are just how we measure distance

Besides general intelligence covers a wide variety of topics

That’s true, but man getting an IQ score of 83 on an official IQ test still hurts like hell. Because I just know I’m actually that dumb.

You got 83 in a retarded test of putting stupid geometric figures in the right place, ¡What a ropefuel!.

There are better tests for measuring intelligence but IQ tests are shit

You would have known anyway

Do you agree with the thread?
There can't be a simple way to measure intelligence, this concept is too complex to be reduced to just one number

I know a dumbass who scored 120+ on an IQ test

I know a dumbass who scored 120+ on an IQ test
I know one too, but he's very lazy, it's like he throttles his IQ and only runs on like 70 IQ most of the time which makes him seem like a retard

Yes, I have an IQ that's just barely in the normal range, and I perform and behave like a borderline mentally challenged person when doing daily living activities. I just lost my burner phone 2 days ago with no security lock on it, and 3 weeks before that, I lost my main one. I also get fired from jobs for not knowing what to do even after being there for 2 weeks. Because of IQ tests and edjewcation, I was denied disability 20 years ago, and still haven't been diagnosed with intellectual disability. I also don't remember the name of the doctor that denied me so I can kill him one day.

Let's call it Einstein Cope :bigbrain:
