Why not just go outright for a Stacy?

If I constantly get rejected by plain Janes why shouldn't I go outright for Stacies? I noticed that I will still get shot down like crazy but the Stacies seem to be cooler about that. Plaine Janes and ugly girls are much more dismissive and rude to me.
