i don't think they get citizenship if you get married and live in their country, that is the only way you can risk it imo.

let's be real though i'm sure for most of us there's nothing worth staying for in our current countries. I am going to work for a few more years and possibly look into it.

I'd rather try to go to SEA or some other poor area and try to find a wife there. There is still the chance of getting scammed, but it's better than the 99% chance you get with mail order brides.
I'm contamplating that option more and more tbh, maybe it isn't even that bad. Most guys that do that are already old, of course woman don't marry a wrinkly motherfucker that's 20 years older for love, but if you are under 30 this might be kind of legit.
