This is one thing I seriously do not understand about normies, they are always using youth and being young or a teenager as a pejorative. For example, when I see someone post an offensive joke a normie will usually interject and say something along the lines of "You must be a 14 year old edgelord. Grow up. " This has always just confused me because, doesn't everyone want to be more youthful? Do they think hollywood actors and actresses get endless face lifts and botox injections just for fun? My theory is that deep down, most of these people would rather be 14 year old edgelords than Reddit addicted wagies and Incels in denial in some cases, but instead of accepting it and living how they want they delude themselves about their own failed lives by desparately clinging to the idea that they are better because they "matured" or "developed." It could also be considered a form of the MGTOW cope in that way, with how after the realization that their youth is over (at least chronologically) and they have chosen a life of "maturity" they cry sour grapes over youthfulness as a whole and act like they wouldn't want it anyways

It depends on whether those zoomers have done something with their youth or not. Socially you’re supposed to have accomplished shit by 18. Whether in sports, music, thugmaxxing, etc. Making you a talented cool adult with high status and social circle
