Constantine would have never made the cult of Christianity what it is today if not for his religious zealot of a mother. Women have always been more rabidly religious than men (who viewed it more as a means to an end).
Recall that St. Paul was fairly misogynist, even viewing women as obstacles to the lord. Jesus even flipped off Mary in a few passages. Note how regardless of Christian sect, almost none of them pay any attention to the scriptures involving those lines. Christianity would not have been accepted on such a large scale if women didn't give their approval to it.
Now that I think of it, its also why the artistic depiction of Jesus ended up as some pretty boy.
On a more pragmatic level, churches also cater to women because they control the spending/finances. The clerics are fully aware of who fills their collection plates.

Off topic but I cannot understand how any incel can go to church every sunday. Its pretty damn insane imo. If you have a wife or girlfriend, then it makes sense (even better if you met her there).

He is being uplifting and giving a sense of community and moral guidance. A sense of community and belonging is super important for individuals to live all around healthy lives.
