Why is there such a high turnover rate on this forum?

I was browsing a few threads on the MUST READ forum and many of the threads there are a few years old. I noticed that at least half early repliers have named crossed out indicating that they are banned or left the site. What gives? Are these bans or do people just give up and rot? Maybe even some of them ascend?

it's complicated.a lot of those members have vanished and might have died,some killed themselves,some are now in prison or awaiting sentences,some just got tired,some were found out to be fakecels,some were found out to be gay or tranny lovers,some pissed the mods off and got banned,some left because they were tired,some seamaxxed and left,some were low tier normies who got a random ugly girl and suddendly got bluepilled,some went homeless,some left and are now mostly on twitter and reddit....


honestly the list goes on and on and on.but most of the ones you see crossed out left of their own accord or pissed the earlier mods(before fatlink moderation here was much more of a wildwest) and got banned.many went to other forums.

A lot of legit users get tired of all the fakecels, the false flags, anti-white/anti-mentalcel sentiment across the forum, among other things, and decide to quit and leave.

And I'm sure paranoia also plays some role.

Empty internet theory usually deals with more mainstream sites like youtube, twitter, 4chan, ect. where people would have a vested interest in pushing a narrative or have some gain.

For youtube obviously you have view and comment botting, twitter having fake "people" constantly rehashing the same thing in order to trend or push a narrative and Maybe even twitter themselves making fake accounts of their own to argue with other users in order for them to say on site longer. Lets be real 90% of threads on the popular boards of 4chan like /a/, /pol/, and /r9k/ are made by bots, that would explain the same threads being posted over and over again as well as BBC threads, soyjack spam, and the constant shilling.

I think 99.8% of the users here are genuine since there's no real gain to bot this place as we are such a small and relatively niche forum.

Yup, and without reddit's karma system there's no incentive for artcels to make new funny memes

Probably because the FBI and all those other agencies are watching this site and would rather take their names off of this site and whatever they said on here instead of having it come back to bite them.

Simply put, to keep their privacy and not be tied to this site.

We are pretty good at telling who the fakecels are. Once a person starts dating, or they get "lucky" and have sex with a foid, they know to request ban.
