Why is the upload pic option broken?

Half of the time it doesn't work and it's fucking annoying having to do a reverse search or upload it somewhere to copy the link. It shouldn't be that hard to fix

the only way to upload pics that are big in size is to make them in PNG format instead of webp or JPEG format.
JPEG format will take years and webp won't work the way you want it to work. use "paint" to make the pic in png format

I think the upload process is broken on mobile browsers. I can insert the image, and then the upload never finishes. It's been like that for a year or more.
