Dude gets constantly humiliated his whole life and you can actually see at 2:26 how he begins to monsterize. Abuse after abuse takes a toll on a person. My favorite clip is where he is talking to Murray about society being nothing but a self-conceited inhuman congregation.

Joker 2 was made an abhorrent piece of shit and introduced a female protagonist on purpose because people who made the first movie didn't expect it to raise our problems on the surface and when they realized what they've done they had to make up for it by downplaying and dismissing all the TRVE and the SOVL the Joker had.
