It's not the blackpill per se. It's the fault of the bluepill. It leads people into believing falsehoods. That feeling stems from those falsehoods being shattered after being exposed as nothing but lies. When a lie is revealed, and people feel bad. They blame the lie, not the truth that dispels the lie.

Harsh truths are better learned young. They're easier to accept and deal with. But if you believe a lie for years, as we all have, it hits harder when it gets dismantled.
