Well, it is owned by (((Conde Nast))) and it is every bit as controlled as (((twitter))) as a means of propaganda and narrative manipulation. Hence, why there is a culture of intense moderation going all the up to site admins, which are likely as infested with sjw goons as the moderation of every major subreddit is. This isn't really a phenomenon unique to reddit, but has been observed in all online communities, even the likes of 4chan, though chans are the most resistant.
The problem is women are and have always been the Morality Police. Even going back long before feminism. They are the ones who get offended and upset over certain topics of discussion, certain words being used, even the tone of the discussion can upset them. Once women infiltrate a community and start policing it, white knights in the community AND the moderation teams begin enforcing their policing policies. Often times these women will be given moderation positions that always end in huge disasters and drama followed by a huge decline in the quality of the community. What you are left with is a community that has filtered out anyone who isn't a woman or a cuck.
Reddit's voting system makes this problem worse because now you don't even need the mods to influence discussion, the community will do it for you through upvotes and downvotes once the majority of said community is ideologically aligned.
