Why is my time as a 20 year old felt long?

Because someone said time speeds and when you take account for that the middle of your life if you live to 80 will be 20
 
20 is nothing. When i was 20 i felt like i was still a kid.
 
When you hit around 23 to 24 is when the existential dread kicks in :feelsokman:
 
I mean it's not like time actually speeds up obviously but the reason it feels like it speeds up for people is that the longer you are alive the less unique experiences you'll have on a daily basis. When you're a kid everything is new to you but as time goes on you experience less new things so when you look back on the years it feels like nothing has happened.

Also because as each year goes by a single year becomes a smaller percentage of your total time lived.

I can confirm the lack of new experiences thing making time feel like it speeds up. I've been doing nothing the past couple months and I can't believe it's nearly April already
