This 21 year old man invited me to hangout with him , his girlfriend and his friend yesterday for beer. He doesn't know my age.

Maybe he has "daddy issues" and wants you to roleplay his "daddy" to give him a confidence boost.

Go hangout with them, and try complimenting his achievements, his girlfriend, his friend circle, job etc. in a curious, interested and cheerful way, the way his daddy would. I bet it would make his day.
