I'm thinking that's not true. No one is saying "Men can't play video games or watch capeshit" except people who hate video games and capeshit. And if they do, they don't think anyone should. And these people are scarce and not taken seriously.

I'm almost 35 years old, I play video games constantly, why? Because I have no friends, no family, no girlfriend, no wife, no kids, no pets, and literally my entire life is devoid of basically everything, so yeah, I need something to distract me away from what otherwise is a life of totally nothing.

Talking to people at work anymore is like talking to an inmate you share a cell with, you have nothing in common, you don't really like each other, and you're not particularly interested in each other as well. The only reason you do talk to each other at all separate from work, tasks, labor, and daily requirements is because you're forced to share the same restricted living space every day you're assigned to.
Also, when you do try to converse with your coworkers about subjects that are serious, taboo, or politically incorrect all you get is that fluoride stares
