Has instant gratification ruined my brain

I lack the accountability and self awareness necessary to do something as basic as check emails (especially in case an agency job comes up) and apply to jobs on a daily basis. I can cry for days, weeks and months even but I can barely click send on Indeed more than 5 times without calling it a day

Moaning online, doomscrolling and yearning for a job clearly isn’t helping, but I keep doing it anyway. When I could spend 30 mins to 1 hr a day applying

What kinds of jobs are you applying for? I've held a couple of minimum wage fast food jobs and all of them had basically no screening process (extremely trivial interviews, they didn't even read my resume).

It could also just be a locational thing, maybe you live in an area where few places are hiring for whatever reason.

Do you not have email notifications or something? You should enable those ASAP if you're applying for jobs.

Try applying to McDonald's over their website, that's how I got my first job. They'll pretty much accept anyone (at least the Maccas near me did).
