I'm not even saying it's specifically a woman's job since it's a basic adult skill but why is it always a guy on these Youtube channels a dude? I've seen a lot of women online and in person genuinely brag about not being able to cook or making their normie boyfriend cook for them so maybe that's why.

I’ve always seen this. Most of the gender roles is women cooking but chefs are an exception where men cook instead of women. I think chefs are considered the only time a man can cook according to gender roles

I was a chef for a short time to cover for the head chef guy at a place I worked at. It’s absolutely insane the amount of work and pressure you are put under. You have to do everything fast but you have to do it right, you have to cook, manage the kitchen, and keep an eye on all the food going out, while the cooks and servers are yelling at you, asking you questions, telling you about problems, and all kinds of other shit. All the while the kitchen is 110 degrees and you dont get a break until all the customers have left, which could be 10 minutes or 10 hours. Then once the lunch/dinner rush is over you have to prepare everything for the next lunch/dinner rush

Women are just not equipped for that
