Why incels are great writers. Art as a byproduct of trauma. Are self-awareness and authorship mental illnesses?

I want to analyze my dreams as they've become more vivid recently. So I'm reading "Man and his symbols" by Carl Jung.

He talks about civilized people being more conscious. And that is true, they certainly are. And it got me thinking- what does being more conscious actually mean? Some people may think conscious automatically means superior, but I don't think Jung was being pretentious like that. It's just an ontological statement that makes perfect sense. I believe that the reason why civilized people are more self-aware and creative is due to repression.

I'll give an anecdote. When it the weather is nice, I spend all my time outside. I lose interest in all of my "hobbies" and fully drop them. Then if a storm breaks out and I'm forced to be inside for a few days, I develop a passion for random hobbies I've never been involved with before - writing, making youtube videos etc. I am unable to do what I really want to do (chill outside) so my repressed energy is converted into passionate authorship.

This same thing can (in my opinion) be observed in civilized and uncivilized collectives. The uncivilized enact their will. They have nothing to repress. They have no reason to produce art. Don't you think it's interesting that the vast majority of prehistoric art is found in caves? Primitive people still exist today, none of them permanently live in caves. Caves are a momentary shelter for extreme weather. They likely experienced the same thing I did. As they were stuck in that cave, they too for once couldn't go out and do as they pleased, so they indulged in some escapism as we do today, and drew animals they wanted to hunt. Not much different from a modern man self-inserting into his favorite TV show.

It is well known that the civilized collectives are more innovative. With civilization come restrictions. Sexual restrictions, restrictions on violence, restrictions on speech. I believe that whatever is repressed must come out somehow, and with civilized people it is through art, inventions etc. These are not the creations of a superior people. They are a biproduct of an abused, repressed, mentally ill people. Authorship is a coping mechanism for the peoples lack of freedom. It is the embodiment of our trauma. The less you get to live, the more you get to think about living, and the more self-aware and creative you become.

In case it wasn't clear, this post isn't for restrictive societies. I do not posses the "faustian spirit" so many boast about. I think it to be a massive sign of an unsatisfactory way of living. This is also probably why a lot of great writers have been incels.

I wanna write a book one day. Either an autobiography or a fictionalized thriller-novel heavily based on my experiences.

The greatest artists are tortured minds

I have great book ideas but I can’t write :feelsohgod:

It is chads world and we are all living in it

It depends how you want to interpret it.
First why civilized people produce more art then uncivilized is, because they have the time to do so and producing and consuming art helps to spend your time, otherwise it would become boring. Uncivilzed people also produce some kind of art especially jewellery or songs or dances, simple music instruments.

The majority of uncivilized people live in an even more restricted life then most modern people, the leadership of those tribes may can do what they want, but the lower casts have an extremly restricted especially in terms of availibility of sex.

Otherwise you could simply take some heroin addicts put them on cold turkey and have them write smth, most likely nothing will come out if it, eventhough you restrict smth from them to the point that they feel physical pain.

A lot of artist also tend to live a pretty unrestricted life, with drugs and "free love" beein an essential part of Rock music.

It would be more correct that artists, and authors in specific, are more likely to be depressed. Civilization tend to produce more depressed people. Incels are more likely to be depressed. But depression dont just come up from restriction of the will.
Depressed people either try to find beauty in the world to have a reason to keep on living, are extremly ironic cynics, which can give them a great sense of humour or they try to find a philosophical explanation to stay alive, or a combination of those.
The same goes for autism (a lot of great thinkers and artists have are somewhere on the spectrum), which is also more likely to appear around Incel.

Also because Incels have the free time, which brings us back to a major difference between vivilized and uncivilized societies. Having a girlfriend/ wife or even a family is extremly time consuming

They are the surrogate activities uncle Ted warned us about.
