Sure, but the way things are going, this current economic situation isn't sustainable.
Another 08-style crash or even worse would fuck most people badly. I doubt we will get there, with a more steep decline but we are reverting to the mean in regards to fiscal economics, there are people alive today due to fake economic growth, which is now meeting base effects, these people aren't going to play nice when their jobs disappear and inflation causes them to live barely above the 'poverty' line.

The only way any rebellion would work is if the military became fractured and they loose their cohesion. Regular civilians have no defense against tanks/drones and AirPower.
