JFL Why has PC gaming been completely overrun by numales since 2013?
Because in the past it was hard to get into and only for real geeks. The biggest thing that is responsible for this is windows and how user-friendly it has become. In the past there was dos, win 95, 98, xp where you had to install drivers manually. Nowadays with win 7/10 everything is idiot proof and works automatically.
All games are being reduced to piles of heaping shit to appeal to normies and kids nowadays.

PC gaming is kinda over the hill I’d imagine with everyone on mobile devices. I remember playing Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, etc. back when guys my age were outside playing, kissing girls. Even @ 10, it never even began.

Yeah I had to format my PC and windows 10 did literally everything. Every driver just sorted itself out. Its nice, but its lowered the bar when previously you had to open up the case and visibly read what fucking motherboard you were using and find drivers on some obscure site.
Played Kingdom come Deliverence? Its just had a new hardcore mode out, its pretty brilliant. Its not perfect but its not far from it, and it was all done by a based indie czech developer on a shoestring budget. Its incredible the amount of polish and quality that is in it for a game on such a low budget.
Its filled with good stuff like everybody being a white catholic, no historical revisionism like women knights etc. No black people which the developer got a lot o flak for.

Warcraft 3, Doom etc. had a feel to them like they were designed with passion, modern games don't have much of that
