The intersexual competition concept gives a whole new perspective to the concept of loyalty.
That's why females have no loyalty, because their reproductive goals are less dependent on the success of the offspring and family unit than preserving their fertility and health(i.e. survival) is.
I also liked when he talked about the chimps (females leave at puberty) vs baboons (males leave at puberty) adolescent migratory traits, because it puts an evolutionary spin on male inheritance in humans and how females used to be "married out" to other families. Also known as "The Patriarchy".
It's very interesting how the chimps developed a semblance of civilized behaviours (patrols, organised warfare, genocidal tactics) while the baboons remain nothing more than animals.
This is why humans evolved and developed civilization. Because males prize loyalty and cooperation, while females prefer competition and division, and for humans' ancestors the family units were comprised of groups of males.
