Thats what author Mark Manson proposed in his book "Models" lol. Only masturbate once a week but not to porn. I think masturbating might lead to a relapse all together though. For me, i feel like it would be harder to give up animal products rather than masturbation.

BTW OP, you don't have to move to tibet. There are places in the US with monks, Christian ones as well. I know a guy who moved to California in his mid 20s to become a Coptic Monk. Russian Orthodox monks are cool too (some of the best dog trainers in the world).
