If the bodybuilder is attractive then there'll be foids that like them. Though, most of these bodybuilders that compete are on performance enhancing drugs/steroids and these can have negative effects like balding. Also, to gain muscle, you'd have to eat a lot and you will gain some fat. Some of this fat is distributed to the face, this can give a bloated facial appearance and less definition to cheekbones and the jawline. And then there is a certain point that being big and strong just looks scary as hell. You start to look like a monster/bear. Veins everywhere, you are losing your breath as you walk. It's just off-putting at a certain point.

You can force your muscles to grow with some effort almost without exception, but that is only one dimension of displaying fitness. I can imagine that an over muscled physique that doesn't move well is actually a turn off for most foids. It's a lot like being fat because it begins to hurt mobility and puts a strain on the cardiovascular system. You need good genetics to have the proper frame to be both very muscular and very mobile not even steroids and hgh can do that for you. Muscles gained from bodybuilding are a great accomplishment, but they don’t translate into the good genes the popular kids were born with.
