I'm no expert but I think mild exposure is fine, if it's a lot though, then it looks bad.
Even the tiniest exposure looks bad on a guy sadly, but for women, it doesn't matter

Wrong. Upper eyelid exposure looks like dogshit on everyone, foids included. It's only because humans have much, much, much lower biological standards for women and the "women are wonderful" effect that you don't think it's as bad

A woman can have all the wrong features, recessed to excessive & whatever in between yet still get a guy but a man is a sum of everything with too many things below acceptable dooming him so he's expected to work very hard in other areas to compensate & even then that's not enough for some.
In a reality that gave every child with bad features free surgery as a matter of course the bar on looks would rise so high that a Chad lite would be considered hideous thanks to ever rising standards.

Eye shape is the most important feature of the eye area, Then is how deep set they are, then is upper eye lid exposure, then is eye color, then is canthalt tilt.
UUE isn't necessarily too bad, but if it's extreme it's death.
