It's Over Why does having glasses suck so much?

i don't believe that %. there is even a subreddit r/lasiksupport that talks about their horrible experiences and complications after lasik surgery

this wouldn't be so bad if doctors would admit that lasik should be considered a cosmetic surgery only, unfortunately they just want to scam and shirk responsibility.
What do they do in lasik procedures and how does it affect aesthetics and cosmetics?

you won't have to wear glasses anymore lolllll, it's like wearing contact lenses

lasik basically burns away a layer of your cornea to turn your cornea into another glasses, the problem is that the lens is bulging and not the cornea so it doesn't solve the root problem. What's worse is that peeling away a layer of the cornea makes your eye vulnerable because the layer has become too thin. You will even have a lot of unnecessary complications after the surgery.

It's not a panacea. If you are nearsighted by 10 degrees and have lasik, the laser will puncture your cornea; the reason is that for every degree of nearsightedness, your cornea is peeled away a little bit, at nearly ten degrees it's just a membrane that is very vulnerable to punctures.

Thank me lolll
