Why does God allow bad things to happen?

When we say God is all powerful, that doesn't mean everything that happens is God's will. He chose to limit his power by creating us with a free will.

If God were to intervene every time there was evil and suffering in the world, then none of us would have free will. If God were to intervene on the evil in this world, then why are we still here to this day.

Because we don't live in Paradise. There won't be any suffering in Paradise. That is a reward for his true believers.

If you are incel that doesn't mean that God doesn't exist, atheism is pure cope
I am not a christian but anyways God is real

Because the world would be immensely boring without suffering.

Are you trying to spread christianity in this place? Its over, lol
I spread the truth everywhere.

I would feel terrible if I didn't tell people, I want more people to go to Christ.

The vast majority of this user base used to be Christian and waiting till marriage, now it's only about 1/3

I'm fairly certain that the concept of religion on incel spaces has always been incredibly taboo, I have zero clue where you're getting these stats from.

Where is the truth? Bro you worship 3 gods
Muslims essentially worship two considering that they venerate Muhammad so heavily that he may as well just be considered a divine being at this point.

I don't care about free will, I care about being happy. And I don't believe in after life, so, it's over.

Now is God benevolent?

Look at literally any thread from early 2018.

I spend more time on 2018 threads than I do in the present

At this point I don't care if he lets me suffer, this life isn't too terrible, it could be much worse

It will get better - remember this life is temporary. It's not even a grain of sand in comparison to the eternal life that can await us

This is a question that has been haunting religioncels for many thousands of years.

I don't suspect we will ever truly find the answer, unfortunately.

That is my unbiased take.

Well doesn't matter about caring or feelings, it's true that we have free will - in whether to follow God or not.
It's your choice: Temporary happiness and eternal sadness? Or temporary "sadness" and eternal happiness?

Yes, they were. They were before realizing that, if their โ€œGodโ€ exists, he condemned them to a worthless life and suffering. I donโ€™t care how Christians cope with moral questions or explanations; my faith in the Bible and Jesus will never be restored.

Who told you this? Prophet Muhammad is not a god at all

Jfl, protestants also don't believe in the trinity.
I've never heard that in my life

If you are a Christian, then you believe in the trinity. If you follow Christ then you believe in the trinity.

As a protestant pentecostal I believe in the trinity

Protestants do believe in the Trinity, for the most part.

There are some very small sects who reject it, but 98% do believe in the Trinity.

I will make a thread sometime about how God is the ultimate truth, and the Bible is the only objective absolute. I'll just spam the evidence.
Hopefully it will open your eyes and many others of the users here. Although unfortunately many users wouldn't believe in Jesus even if He was in their room.

Possible answers:

1.-He doesn't exists.

2.-He exists, but he is evil.

3.-He exists, but he isn't omnipotent.

And BTW in Old Testament your beloved YHWH allowed israelites (aka ancient IDF) to kill innocent members of Canaanite tribes. How do you feel about that?

Like the Amalekites?

ALL Amalekites were ordered to be killed as a death penalty for their extreme cruelty and hostility toward Israel. If they were not all wiped out they would continue their persistent acts. And animals that belong to the household were also to be put to death by the old law (that is now fulfilled as Jesus died on the cross).

Don't think of it that way, we don't die as a result of the free will - it is the suffering as a result from mankind disobeying God in the Garden of Eden. It's Satan's doings.

Did you even watch the videos? I just can't comprehend how you will still think this way if you actually listened to the information provided.

Yes, he is the ultimate benevolent example. However, that doesn't mean there won't be consequences for people's actions.
let's agree to disagree

God is the ultimate authority, of compassion and care that is beyond human comprehension. So if there is a defenition of Benevolent, it may as well be God himself.
