Why do women like wasting money at restaurants

On my social media I see women always posting pictures of restaurant visits, mainly on weekends.
But what is so wonderful about wasting money at restaurants? I just dont get it.

I watched a show on youtube about fastfood and restauarnt food. They charge like 5X the amount of the food is really worth including labour costs business costs like electricity etc.

I rather cook my own burgers. I buy quality mince, beautiful onions and organic eggs and make my own burgers. Even pizza or grilled meat or fancy salads and I can use organic products and still its cheaper than restaurants.

With the left over cash I can buy a bus ticket to another city and then buy a one day subway ticket/pass and view all the historical/cultural sites of the city
