I never really understood why this happened, even since I was a boy. Wouldn't it make more sense from an evolutionary standpoint to love somebody who cares for you other than men who abuse and ignore you?

This behavior was probably so common throughout much of early human history it left a lasting imprint upon the foid’s psyche so that once civilization and laws came about along with the resulting softnesses of civilized living allowing for the rise of betas and soys who would desire to treat foid’s well because of their softness she can only simply react to that as a foreign experience and concept and reject it outright because she’s expecting to be treated badly at this point by being beaten and raped and emotionally abused.
Thus the soy/beta is viewed as some kind of weirdo/aberration that is unworthy of her.
