You probably have indigenous mixture in you, if you're South American, as well as possibly even African.
And Meds are White but ofc they look different from that of other Europeans, sub-variations exist ofc.
Even then, most meds have lighter skin & the texture of the hair is different is that makes sense.
South Europeans are mostly ANF/EEF which is considered European, yet do have some connection to MENA.
About the J1 & J2, here's something for thought:

Kek no jfl: I live here, and have known tons of Italian-Americans of full or partial ancestry, the difference between them & most MENA is night & day.
That said, the MENA who can mainly "pass" as South Euro are Levantines or Anatolians.
