Why do tallfags(male or female) get so angry when asked how tall they are?

It's fine every once in a while, but it started to get annoying after about the 3rd or 4th time. I feel like I might as well walk around with a sign on my forehead reading "Yes I'm aware of the fact that I'm really tall, no I don't want to be a model, now please go away!"

I really don't want to be rude, but sometimes enough is enough. Yes, I'm tall, but it's far from the most interesting thing about me.
