Why do redditcucks love AMD so much while hating Intel?

The two Intel CPUs benchmarked here are actually 200$ cheaper than their AMD counterparts (in my country) while delivering the same performance in most games. I don't see the reason why redditcucks love to hate Intel.

Intel uses more power out of the box I think. You have to actively downclock stuff in bios to make it run efficient.

AMD used to be the cheaper underdog while Intel stagnated pumping out 4 core CPUs for a decade.

This sentiment made sense with early Ryzen where AMD started making a competitive product with more cores at good prices. Gaming wasn't there yet compared to Intel, but it was getting there.

Then once AMD gained market share, Intel had their foibles with Raptor Lake CPUs, and arguably surpassed Intel in gaming and all performance (I don't agree here, but then we're getting deep into nerdy stuff) they basically became the same as Intel, like all corporations do.

But, this "Team Red" sentiment remains which is so silly. And it's annoying as it's effectively destroyed tech media because all creators looking to make a buck know to throw up whatever AMD biased slop and it gets clicks.

such channels are fraud, they fake benchmarks, they don't own any of that hardware they "test" in the videos

Just Intel was very scummy with their prices because they had no competition since late 2000s till around 2018, so it made majority of consumers very negative towards Intel.

Brand loyalty is stupid. As a consumer, you should buy objectively the best product for the money you're willing to spend.

I remember having one of their bulldozer CPUs, think it was the FX 6300. Changing to a i7-4770k was a big upgrade.

I'm glad AMD provide actual competition now though, it's not good if just one company dominates the market.

The days of only AMD vs Intel are going to change soon anyway once ARM CPUs come to desktop. How viable they'll be, who knows.
