Why do ppl say 3rd world ppl are "happy"?

Some ppl say 3rd world ppl live simpler lives or something, makes them happier or less depressed. I think the opposite.. seems like PURE hell. Jesus christ... the violence, the abuse, the insanity. How can people live in those conditions? It's literal hell.

Because the living standard in the West is also plummetting and telling Westerners that those in the 3rd world are happy is a more or less subtle way to keep white people down and to make them willing to accept a decreasing living standard. This is also one of the ideological functions of churches: telling people that wealth and money is degenerate anyway, that the rich are actually super depressed and might go to hell anyway. So just be a classcuck, accept your misery and poverty and wait for things to get better in the afterlife.
