Very astute points. Trauma and a non-NT brain broke Travis. There was no hope of him ever recovering from that. Even after he rescued a young girl from some depraved pimps, nobody wanted to help him. After his 10 minutes of fame were up, his suffering just resumed. This is very much a microcosm of his experiences as a veteran.

Undesirable men like Travis are disposable. Taxi Driver is a very blackpilled movie.

Taxi driver if anything is a representation of a severely depressed mentally ill man on the giga decadent NYC of the 70s, however he is NOT an incel by any means since he easily flirted with and dated a blonde Stacy.
