I have noticed in pictures they obnoxiously will use a camera. turn it "on" and stand in front of or beside it. Why is this? Is it a scale or point of reference?
I used to take pictures of girls back in the 1970's.
One time a guy caught me, and stood between me and the girl.
He thought I was up to no good. I was.
When taking pictures of the girls, I pointed the camera at them WITHOUT putting my eye to the viewer.
I pretended I was fumbling with the camera.
This was the camera I used.. NO cell phones back then. I did not use the flash - for obvious reasons.
