I kinda remember hearing about billy mazes and Michael Jacksons death when I was really young. I looked it up when typing this slop out and I found out they died five days apart.

But when I was a kid I don’t really remember details because all my memories are dying but it was it a big deal I guess

But I do remember when another knock off micheal Jackson named prince died.

You had literal reporters crying about it on air and my teacher did a moment of silence and shit. I also remember making a joke about something and everyone in the room looked like they wanted to lynch me lol.

But yeah it’s peak cuckholdery crying over a dead celebrity lol. But I think that’s in the past now because nowadays people will just meme it and make jokes about it because everyone is over stimulated and miserable lol

But yeah crying over someone you never personally knew Is retarded. like Nigga they literally had a better life then 90% of the planet why should I even care??

But yeah that’s a thing in the past. Maybe people will care if Taylor swift died or maybe one of those 3rd worlder soccer stars but beyond that everyone else is getting memed on. Just look at mr kirk for example.

Because normies develop parasocial relationships with celebrities and feel like they know each other

The only parasocial relationship I have is with a fictional woman

People connect with the art that a particular artist has made. Was really sad when kentaro miura died as well as david lynch and others through out the years.

I mean when Luis Vazquez (the sole member of the band the softmoon) died I was like oh that fucking sucks and then forgot about it in a few seconds.

Even though that was one of my favorite bands

That's fair I don't think I ever cried and broke down like some people do but I think certain people trigger something kind of powerful whether it be memories associated with whatever art they produced or feeling a little less alone when your engaging with them.
