Some reasons i came up with:
1. Someone who is already depressed and shredded by life is not as uplifting as a social butterfly normie, therefore you will have it harder to connect with them because you drag them down. Due to modern life people can just ignore you with no consequences therefore incels who would have had a tribe back in hunter gatherer days now will just be left alone easier and more often. (one could make the argument back them they would have gotten discarded or punished too)
2. When seen with women maybe it signals them that they are of lesser status? (Could also make them appear much nicer due to contrast?)
It seems like that good looking people form their own groups and build an ingroup with higher genetic material?. Outcasts stick to other outcasts and are maybe more often less attractive?
The human species favours good looking people immensly. This is to keep the genepool healthy and strong? (one reason why healthy good looking women and guys are worshipped?) Normies and Co just take part in that unconsciously due to their human nature?
