I've read his whole manifesto and as a teenager, ER was extremely self-hating and often talked about how he felt inferior, worthless, and small. It wasn't so much his Asperger's but rather, after having his self-esteem crushed to the size of an ant, he snapped and went to the other extreme, calling himself a superior gentleman and saying that he was good looking.
