Why do incels have trouble making friends?

The only time I see ugly men with lots of "friends" is if they let themselves be used as footstools, demeaned and if they take all the insults bending over. They're typically booted off if they show any discontent or signs of their own viewpoints.

Making friends works kinda like a branch of a tree with its ramifications. You usually get new friends through old ones, and the oldest ones you have usually come from school.

In Brazilian culture, it isn't THAT hard to make new friends from scratch when you're older, but judging from my German experience, it's very tough there, and I suspect it's also like that in most of Europe and in the US.
