Because the wedding day is supposed to be all about them specifically. Not even the groom/future husband. It's about HER. The foid makes all the important decisions, all thr planning, all the decor, the food at the reception, the location, everyone's outfits, etc. And all of her friends and family are there to praise her and give her gifts just because some normie finally decided to betabuxx for her long enough that she could cuck him into marriage. That's what most normie weddings today boil down to.
