I have my own theories as to why he does this, and it centers around foid worship. It is an attempt to have us discuss our opinions about "who is hot and who is not" Of course those of us older cels remember that "hot or not.com" was a precursor to the wretched social media worshipping exercise known as "Facebook"
The claim he makes is that it is "shitting on foids". I strongly disagree. It's a way to poll people and see who thinks what girl is hot and then to illicit a reaction from us. It works well. I'll admit, I am tempted to engage, to vote and then to critique. I have seen in the past that these threads create a dramatic upsurge in opinions about the photos in question about how pretty or not the foid actually is.
If this is going to keep happening then I suggest that a seperate section be created.
This is an clever form of bragging and foid worship. It seeks to engage all the users in putting their own photos of who they consider beautiful and then to offer our praise to the proper goddess body. It's a cope for sure and I think that if we are going to do it, it shouldn't be in ID section. It has the potential to make people feel sick. It promotes the same type of foid worship as any other overt kind of food worship. The fact is, we become tempted to vote and to critique the foid.
I am not saying that many of us don't want to participate, to the contrary, I'm saying we should be aware of what this desire really entails.

How a 20-year-old joke pioneered the social web.
